Mitsuyuki Ota was born on May 7, 1920. He was the son of Jinkuro Ota and Yoshino Ota. He served in the 19th Infantry Regiment, 24th Infantry Division, as a Sergeant during the Korean War.
Sgt Ota was Killed in Action on July 16, 1950, in South Korea. He is now buried in the Kauai Veterans Cemetery, Hanapepe, Kauai County, Hawaii, USA.
