Hiroshi Shibao was born on December 11, 1924, in California. He served in Company H, 2nd Battalion, 19th Infantry Regiment, 24th Infantry Division, as a Corporal and Food Service Apprentice during the Korean War.

Cpl Shibao was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy in South Korea on July 20, 1950. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
