Kenneth Kazuo Shimogawa was born on November 9, 1928. He was the son of Shigeru Shimogawa and Mitsuyo Lemon. He served in Company E, 2nd Battalion, 5th Infantry Regimental Combat Team, as a Private First Class and Parts Clerk during the Korean War.

PFC Shimogawa was Killed in Action on September 20, 1950, in South Korea. He is now buried in the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Honolulu County, Hawaii, USA.
