Katashi Yokotake was born on March 11, 1931. He served in the 31st Infantry Regiment, 7th Infantry Division, as a Corporal and Light Weapons Infantryman during the Korean War.

Cpl Yokotake was Killed in Action on July 19, 1952, in North Korea. He is now buried in the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Honolulu County, Hawaii, USA.
