Clarence Patton Freeman was born on July 29, 1892 in Pennsylvania. He was the son of Harold A. Freeman and Mary P. Freeman. Clarence was graduated from Princeton college, Class of 1914. A Captain in the U.S. Army during World War I, Capt. Freeman was killed in action by small arms fire on September 30, 1918 in France while serving as a Company Commander, near Mountfaucon, France. He is now buried in the Old Saint David Church Cemetery, Wayne, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, USA.
