Arthur D. Case was born on May 23, 1918 in Missouri. He was the son of Everett Manning Case and Annabelle Slagle Case. He served in the 3rd Infantry Division as a Staff Sergeant during World War II. He was Killed in Action on September 25, 1944 at the age of 26 near Rupt-Sur-Moselles, Vosges, Lorraine, France and is now buried in the Golden Gate National Cemetery, San Bruno, San Mateo County, California, USA.
