Thurmann C. Dunn was born on March 12, 1919 in Pendleton County, Kentucky, USA. Thurman was the son of Albert Luther and Stella Wilson Dunn. He was a single laborer who lived in Aurora, Indiana. He entered the Army in September 1914 and served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Corporal in the 10th Infantry Regiment, 5th Infantry Division. He died on August 24, 1944, was killed in action, was initially burried at Villeneuve-sur-Auvers in France and is now buried at River View Cemetery, Dearborn County, Indiana.
