From Findagrave.com: PVT Co. B, 17th Tank Battalion, 7th Armored Division WW II With records comming out of WWII often being inaccurate associates of the 7th Armored Division have been trying to fill in a few gaps among their fallen troops of WWII.
Pvt. Mitchell Willoughby was born on April 17, 1918 in Jefferson, Montgomery Co. Kentucky. He was the son of Ellis Bush Willoughsby fag# 30896162 and Bessie Willoughby. Husband and wife were 2nd cousins, so they already shared the same surname.
He entered the military on April 1, 1942 in Ciccinnati, Ohio. He sacraficed his life on Aug. 24, 1944 near Melun, France.
