He enlisted in the Army on June 4, 1943 in Baltimore, Maryland. He was noted as being employed as a Skilled welder and also as Single, without dependents. Theodore was ""Killed In Action"" in France during the war and was awarded the Purple Heart with two Oak Leaf Clusters."
