Michael E. �Mike� Graczyk was born on February 21, 1925. He is the son of Mr. Michael & Mrs. Nettie V. (Brown) Graczyk of 2229 North Monitor Avenue, Chicago, Illinois. He enlisted in Chicago on April 2, 1943. First Lieutenant Graczyk lost his life during the WWII over Germany. He was shot by railway flak and crashed with his P-51 Mustang in the small village in Brokstreek, Germany. He is now buried in Saint Joseph Cemetery, River Grove, Cook County, Illinois, USA.
