Howard Kenneth Bloor, Sr. was born in East Liverpool, Ohio on Nov. 22, 1917, a son of the late Leonard Bloor and Ethel Huff Bloor. He resided there all his life. He was a Member of Riddle Masonic Lodge 315, East Liverpool Area Chamber of Commerce and American Legion Post 4. He served with the 101st Airborne Division as a First Sergeant paratrooper and was among the units which landed in Normandy in the 1944 invasion. He died on May 8, 1970 at a city hospital following an illness of 4 1/2 years. He is buried in Columbiana County Memorial Park, East Liverpool, Columbiana County, Ohio, USA.
