"Son of E. C. and Clara Sordelet Weaver. High School STudent, Enlisted 2-3-1917. Went overseas with Company F, 16th Infantry, 1st Division in June 1917. Took part in campaigns of 1917-1918. Wounded three times, recovered; returned to duty. Died June 12, 1918 from wounds received in action."
