Peter Larson was born in 1890 in Alabama. He married Clara Vesta Cray on July 19, 1913, in Bay Minette, Alabama. They had one child during their marriage. He entered the military service in California. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in Company I, 18th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on July 18, 1918 and is now buried in Oise-Aisne American Cemetery, Seringes-et- Nesles, France. His surname is inscribed on the Buzancy monument as Larsen.
