The site is located adjacent to the town (Sant’ Angelo in Theodice) bridge that spans the Gari (Rapido) river. There are two monuments at this site.

Sant’ Angelo in Theodice is a frazione (neighborhood) of the City of Cassino. It is located in the southern portion of the region of Lazio. Sant’ Angelo sits on the banks of the Gari River (mislabeled by the US Military in World War 2 as the Rapido River). Take the Autostrada A1 (South from Rome; North from Naples) and exit at Cassino and then follow signs to S. Angelo Theodice or S. Angelo T). The road Corso Trieste crosses the Gari River The site is immediately across the bridge on the right side.
