The site is located near the thermal Bath town of Arta Terme in the Carnia area of the region of Friuli Venezia Guilia, in the northeast corner of Italy. The site is located near the town of Lovea which is a frazione (Neighborhood) of Arta Terme. From Cedarchis, just south of Arta Terma on SS 52, take SP 23 towards Lovea and Paularo. After about 5 kilometers the town of Lovea will be on the right of the valley; the site on the left (See map). The site is not marked on the highway and a walk to the site in the woods is required. .
