Description:

The site consists 3 memorials: two monuments: the Palawan WWII Memorial; and the Survivors Memorial, including an informational panel; and a Philippine Historic marker remembering the enemy massacre of nearly 150 American POWs at this location (POW Camp 10-A) in December 1944 (some remnants of the former POW Camp can also be seen).

The site is located in the city of Puerto Princesa on the Philippine island of Palawan. Officially the Province of Palawan, it is an archipelagic province of the Philippines that is located in the region of Mimaropa. It is the largest province in the country in terms of total area of jurisdiction and its capital is the city of Puerto Princesa. The site is located in a park – Plaza Cuartel near the Conception Cathedral.
