The site is located on the “Green” in the town of Kirton Lindsey (or Kirton in Lindsey). Kirton in Lindsey is a small town and civil parish in the North Lincolnshire district, in the county of Lincolnshire, England. It is situated 1.5 miles (2.4 km) west from the A15 road, and approximately 7 miles (11 km) south-east from Scunthorpe. It is located in the region of Yorkshire and the Humber. The site is in the center of Kirton in Lindsey village, on the green at the cross roads of King Edward Street and N. Cliff Road (B1398).
