The site includes several memorials to Norwegian Emigrants to include one to the 99th Infantry Separate Infantry Battalion and members of an OSS Team that conducted “Operation Rype” in Norway during WW2.

The site is located outside the Emigrant Church (Emigrantkyrkja) in Sletta, Norway. Sletta is a rural linear village in the municipality of Alver in Vestland county, Norway. The village lies on the northern side of the island of Radøy about a 50-minute drive north of the city of Bergen. The site is at the intersection of Fv411 and Sltettavege streets.
