Malmo Eastern Cemetery (Östra kyrkogården Malmö)
Description:
The site includes one memorial remembering Americans killed in Sweden during WW2 and buried in this cemetery and includes two Isolated Burials (ISOBs) of Airmen killed while supporting Project Sonnie in October 1944.

The site is located in the Malmö Eastern Cemetery (Östra kyrkogården) in the city of Malmö, Sweden. Malmö the largest city in the Swedish county of Scania in the very southern part of Sweden very near to the Øresund Bridge linking Sweden and Denmark. The site lies in a beautiful garden within the cemetery.
