Description:

This building houses commemorative wooden panels that were donated by the 387th U.S. Bomb Group. The Romford War Memorial Social Club was constructed in 1952, funded by public subscription. It acted as both a community hall/social club and a war memorial. The buildings fell into neglect in the 1980s, but following a regeneration project by local volunteers the main hall was refurbished and in 2012 the main building was converted to theatre use.
