The site is located in the neighborhood of Eygelshoven in the town of Kerkrade. Eygelshoven (Kerkrade) is in the southeast of the Netherlands, close to the German and Belgian borders. The site is in an industrial section of town just off the street next to the Eygelshoven War Memorial.
