The site is located along a nature preserve road near Ober-Mörlen, Germany. Ober-Mörlen s a town in the Wetteraukreis district of Hesse. The site is located at the entrance to the Eichkopf nature preserve on Wintersteinstrasse (road); the nature preserve is a former military training area. At the Wintersteinstrasse entrance are old tank barrier blocks. The site is just west of Ober-Mörlen and 10 kilometers north of Friedberg.
