The site is located at the Gardelegen Massacre site, now a German National Memorial known as Gedenkstätte Feldscheune Isenschnibbe Gardelegen (Insenschnibbe Barn Memorial). Gardelegen is a town in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It is situated on the right bank of the Milde River. The site is northwest of town center and is located at the entry to the National Memorial.
