The site is located at the Walpersberg Mountain Slave Labor Camp (Walpersberg REIMAHG Gedenkstätte) in Kahla, Germany. Kahla is a town in the Saale-Holzland district, in Thuringia, Germany. It is situated on the river Saale, 14 km south of Jena. The site is located in a hilly area of former tunnels in nearby village of Großeutersdorf . A museum for this labor camp is in Großeutersdorf (Dorfstraße 7). The site is on the memorial wall.
