Description:
The site contains several memorials to the B-17 #42-102585 ‘The Betty L’ that crashed at Valléres during World War II. The arrow down in the picture is a power transformer behind the bushes that bears two plaques relating to the crash while encircled above is the monument for the crew.

The site is at the water tower at the entrance to the village. This is on the east side off D39, about 70 meters from the road and about 250 meters north of the road junction with Rue des Blanchetiéres.
