The site contains a plaque remembering the crash of the Douglas C-47 #42-92700 of the US Air Force that crashed on November 1, 1944.

The site is on the mountain about 6.7km south of Doizieux town center. This is 1.5 km from the main stele at La Jasserie. Take the path just behind the stele, in the direction of the military relay.
