Bastogne- Peace Woods
Description:
This 6-acre site contains 4000 trees indigenous to the Bastogne Platea, which were planned on the 50th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge. The site is dedicated to all the American and Belgian soldiers and civilian casualties of the battle in the winter of 1944-1945.

This site is located 1.5 km east the 101st Easy Company monument off of Foy Road. Travel south-east on Foy Road for 2 min to the first road on the north side, Outbourcy Road. There is a rectangle sign with an arrow pointing to the Peace Woods at the turn. Parking lot will be located 650 meters on the northwest side of Outbourcy Road. The forest is a short walking distance through the woods from the parking area. This site is not easily accessed by wheelchair.
