Little Falls Cemetery

Inside the cemetery is the grave of CPL Vernon J. Thorsteinson, a Canadian who died during the Vietnam War while serving in the United States Marine Corps.

The cemetery is situated on the eastern edge of Atikokan. From the Ontario Highway 622 intersection with Little Falls Road and Partridge Road, take the road going south. Just follow the road and after about 700 meters, you will arrive at the entrance path to the cemetery. Though the cemetery is off the road, it’s easy to tell that you are at the entrance path of the cemetery as the headstones are still visible from the road.
