Rochelinval Forest Road
Description:
Monument is two reclaimed wood 2X6 boards with a pair of wood replica rifles crossed with a vinyl covered metal sign dedicated to the 551st Parachute Infantry Battalion. Below this sign is a smaller metal plaque marking the spreading of the ashes of Richard "Dick Fields.

This site is located on the southwest side of a Y intersection on a forest walking/biking trail. It has two memorials one dedicated to the 551st Parachute Infantry Battalion and one to commemorate the final resting place of the ashes of Richard Field, a WWII veteran.
