Harderwijk, on the shore of the Ijsselmeer (Zuiderzee), is 42 kilometers northeast of Utrecht and 45 kilometers northwest of Apeldoorn. The cemetery is nearly 1 kilometer east of the center of the town in Oosteinde, a turning off of Newtonweg.
