Victory Park is located to the southwest of Moscow city center on Poklonnaya Gora, or "Bow-Down Hill." The entrance to the park is marked by a long promenade surrounded by fountains, which leads up to a 142-meter-high obelisk covered in representations of scenes from the war. Behind the obelisk is the Victory Museum, where, on the northwest outside the museum the plaque is placed.
