Poullaouen Church
Description:
The site contains a plaque commemorating two American soldiers, Private First Class John D. Gemmill and Second Lieutenant Philip E. Higinbothan (6th Armored Division) who were shot dead at the entrance to the town during the Liberation of Poullaouen in World War II.
