The site is the Donjon and Château de La Haye-du-Puits, a historical landmark located in the village. This site combines medieval architecture with a rich history, reflecting the region's strategic importance and cultural heritage. The donjon, or keep, is the most prominent part of the Château de La Haye-du-Puits. It is a fortified tower that served as the primary defensive structure of the castle. Typically, a donjon was the stronghold's central element, providing refuge and commanding views of the surrounding area. This is situated in the town center about 300 meters north of the town hall. It is located along Rue du Château road about 110 meters north of the road junction with Rue Emile Poirier. La Haye-du-Puits is a former commune that was merged into the new commune of La Haye on January 1, 2016.
