Saint-Germain-d'Elle Town Hall
Description:
Behind the town hall or the village square is a monument commemorating Staff Sergeant John R. Simonetti and his comrades in the 2nd Infantry Division who died during the liberation of the town in World War II. SSgt Simonetti’s body was found in this area.
