The site includes one memorial remembering the liberation of the town by 7th Army Divisions in December 1944.

The site is located near the west entrance of the village of Kientzheim which is part of the town of Kayersberg. The memorial is next to the Free French Forces M4 Sherman Tank along the town's outside wall.
