The site is located in the forest adjacent to the Hasselfurth Pond (Étang de Hasselfurth) in Bitche, France. The site is located off a wooded trail from the pond. East of the Hasselfurth pond is a playground is the starting point for a 400 m-long signposted path leading back to the memorial site.
