Description:

Inside the building is a monument commemorating two American soldiers who died during captivity during World War II.

Address:

2209 Ōmi , 949-0305 , Itoigawa , , , Japan

The site is a chemical manufacturing facility which is situated about 8.8 km southwest of the Itoigawa town hall. The site is accessible by road, with Route 155 running along the eastern edge of the complex. A railway line (likely freight-related) also runs parallel to the Ōumi River, supporting industrial logistics. As of April 2025, the plant has remained in operation since its establishment in 1921 and previously served as a prisoner-of-war camp during World War II.
