Description:
On the museum's outdoor display stands an M4A2 Sherman tank, originally supplied by the U.S. through the Lend-Lease Program to the Soviet Union, and recovered from a ship sunk by the German submarine during World War II.

The museum is located on the north bank of the Neva River in the central part of Saint Petersburg. The main entrance of the museum is located along the Kronverkskaya Riverbank across a Neva River channel from the Peter and Paul Fortress.
