Outside the museum is a monument and information board commemorating Private Andrew Babjak, a Slovak-born US Army paratrooper who was killed in action in France during World War II.

The museum is situated on the southwest outskirts of Pavlovce nad Uhom, about 2.1 km from the town hall. The museum is located on the west side of the Y-intersection of the Ťahyňská road. The museum is know locally as the Kasigarda.
