The site is situated on the eastern outskirts of Hatalov, about 2.6 km from the town hall. The site is located on the northwestern edge of what is today a vast field. It is accessible by car in dry weather; however, during the wet season, muddy conditions can make the route more difficult to navigate. The memorial is clearly visible from the roadside.
