The site is situated on the northeast outskirts of Willer-sur-Thur, about 5 km from the town hall. To reach the site, begin at the town center and head southeast on the D1386 road into the Vosges mountains. Follow this road until you come to the junction with the D138VI, then turn and drive uphill toward the Ferme-Auberge Ostein, a mountain inn and restaurant where parking is available. From this point, the cairn is accessible only on foot. A marked forest path begins near the inn and leads east and northeast, winding gently uphill through the woods for roughly ten to fifteen minutes.
