The site has a memorial to SSgt. Irving Katz, a crew member on the B-17G Flying Fortress “Snafuperman” #42-107118 who died parachuting out at this location when his aircraft was shot down during World War II in the 'Air Battle over the White Carpathians', Mission 263.

The site is located on a private golf course in Čeladná. Čeladná is a village in the Frýdek-Místek District in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. The site is located just off a golf trail in the middle of the golf course (Prosper Golf Course) south of town center.
