The Conington Airfield occupies the eastern portion of the former RAF Glatton, the World War II airbase that now serves as the home of Flying Club Conington. It lies along the airfield’s eastern edge, near the taxiways and hangars that house the modern facilities. As of 2025, the main runway access, hangars, and flying club operations remain situated within the preserved wartime layout of RAF Glatton.
