The site is located in the hamlet of De Meije, approximately 18.7 kilometers northeast of the Bodegraven-Reeuwijk Town Hall in Bodegraven. It lies along the historic De Meije waterway, between Zwammerdam to the southwest and Zegveld to the east, near the border between the Dutch provinces of South Holland and Utrecht.
