Tempsford Millennium Garden Sanctuary
Description:
The site contains a memorial commemorating 75 women of 13 nationalities (including four associated with the U.S.) from the British Special Operations Executive (SOE), many of whom deployed by British Special Duties Squadrons from nearby RAF Tempsford into central Europe during World War II.

The site is located just west of the A1(M) along Church Street in Tempsford, directly opposite the cemetery of St. Peter's Church and outside the southwestern corner of the stone wall enclosing the Tempsford Millennium Garden Sanctuary. It lies approximately 3 kilometers west of the former RAF Tempsford airfield, 48 kilometers east of Northampton, and 70 kilometers north of London.
