The site has a monument commemorating Technician Fourth Grade Ewing B. Boggs and Private First Class George Popovitch, who were killed near the area while serving aboard a Sherman tank named “Blockbuster’’ during World War II.

From the Église Saint-Martin in Ley, head east through the village along Rue Principale for approximately 300–400 meters. Turn right onto the narrow rural road leading south out of the village. Continue southeast through the farmland for approximately 800 meters, following the road as it bends through the fields. The monument will be on the left-hand side of the road, near a junction with another rural track.The site is located in farmland on the southeastern outskirts of Ley, approximately 1.2 km from the village center. It lies southeast of the Église Saint-Martin and east of the D22 road and the Cimetière de Ley, surrounded by cultivated fields.
