The site is located approximately 8 kilometers southeast of Rødby town center, in a rural field within the Saksfjed reclaimed coastal area on the southern coast of Lolland, Denmark. Surrounded by agricultural fields, the site lies inland from the Baltic Sea shoreline, northwest of the Hyllekrog Parking Area and southwest of the Saksfjed-Hyllekrog Nature Reserve, near the coastal wetlands of Hyllekrog. The memorial can be approached via the rural road network leading toward Hyllekrog.
