UN Memorial Cemetery in Korea

Description:

The cemetery is the burial ground for United Nations Command casualties of the Korean War. It contains a monument and commemorative wall commemorating American military personnel who fought to defend South Korea from communist invasion during the Korean War.

The UNMCK lies in southern Busan’s Nam-gu district, a short distance from the downtown area, accessible by subway to Daeyeon Station and a brief walk along UN Pyeonghwa-ro (UN Peace Road). It is located beside the UN Peace Memorial Hall and close to the Busan Cultural Center.
