363rd Infantry Regiment Monument
Details:
In a gated clearing on a hill on the east side of the SP 503 road heading north out of Ponzalla.
MonumentA large stone monument. There is a semi-circular wall around a bronze scupture, and two lower walls extending from the side containing the names of 436 soldiers from the 363rd Infantry Regiment, 91st Infantry Division, killed while fighting through the Gothic Line.
Two plaques on the back attest to its restoration by the Florence Lions club in 1983 and 2001.
