Hoeksche Waard Luchtoorlog Monument

Details:

On the west side of the road. Monument A steel art structure dedicated to the 87 Allied Aircrew members who lost their lives in the area of Hoeksche Waard, a delta island in South Holland. Fifteen of the aircrew lost were members of the USAAF. Seven members are buried at Margraten American War Cemetery in Limburg, one was returned to the U.S.. There are seven names listed on the wall at Margraten as Missing in Action
